Banknote with different signature variety than listed in SCWPM and
missing serial numbers and series. Red on light tan with excess mar-
gin on left with plated numbers and registration markings, back is
red. 2 small POC’s . Uncirculated. Rare Philippine note in this format.

Philippines. Correspondence “Operation of the Electric
Eye”. 1949. 10 Centavos, P-127 Unlisted Specimen Banknote. Miss-
ing serial numbers and series. Brownish-purple on light tan with ex-
cess margins on right and top, back is brownish-purple. POC’s . Most
of the top note is present but is missing the left margin, also includ-
ed is about 1/2 of the lower note and top right corner of the bottom
note. Evidently this was used for testing the response of an “Electric
Eye” for printing of banknotes. Letter is dated Sept. 28, 1954 from
the Philadelphia office of SBNC. Appears Uncirculated but there are
2 staple hole on the top printed edge in the middle. Rare Philippine
production material and banknote. SBNC. ��������������������������Est.
