604 Banco Central De Venezuela, 1991 Progress Proof Essay by ABNC.Venezuela, ND (ca.1970-80’s). 50 Bolivares, P-Unlisted (Similar
to P-65, 1985-98 Issue printed by BDDK). Dated 4/25/(19)91, Partial
progress proof in black printed on off white paper with large margins.
Full impression of border, title and portrait of Andres Bello on the right
and the Palace located in the center of the note. Evidently ABNC was
experimenting or refining its own banknote for a possible Venezuela
issue it was proposing to print. Uncirculated to CU condition. Rare
production department essay that never reached full production since
TDLR and BDDK were the only printers of this banknote design.

ND (ca.1890-1930), Lot of 3 Vignette Proofs. Includes Arms of Venezuela
printed in black on india paper that is unmounted, 3.5 by 4 inches, imprint
at bottom “Arms of Venezuela - Special V-61815 No.2 - Lay down From
C-400 American Bank Note Company”, Uncirculated condition; Arms
of Venezuela printed in black on india paper that is unmounted text on
top “Estados Unidos De Venezuela” and on the bottom “Ministerio De
Relaciones Exteriores - Special - C - 1016”, 3 by 3.5 inches; and vignette
proof of 10 Bolivares, P-57, Proof vignette of Arms used on back left of
1980 ABNC Issue banknote. Printed in purple on planchetted banknote
paper, archival notations on bottom in green “P3 Purple 9-10-80”. Scarce
and ornate proof used on banknotes, stocks, bonds or fiscal documents.
