Georgia, 1856, $500, 6% Mortgage Bond, Issued and uncancelled,
Locomotive on top left with title on top right with counterfoil area on
left, Fine condition with minor split reinforcement on back. Signed by
South Carolina state senator Thomas Drayton as the president of the
railroad, the railroad was important during the Civil War where it helped
keep the Confederate troops supplied. Rare and very desirable Southern

ornate black border with simple design under print. Vignette of an
American Bald Eagle with wings up. VF-XF, Operated in the Bronx,
New York, it was used on the Pelham Park and Island City Railroad,
a disastrous accident in June 1910 led to the line going out of business.
