Centavo notes, 70 x 37 mm’s. includes black on light green underprint;
black on light blue underprint; and, black without underprint. All are
dated “6-19-51”. All with POC’s, red specimen overprints and “00000”

notes, 70 x 37 mm’s. includes black on light yellow underprint; black
on light green underprint; and the back is black on light blue. All are
dated “6-19-51”. All with POC’s, red specimen overprints and “00000”
serial numbers. Uncirculated to CU condition. Rare Philippine essays.

1555 Central Bank of the Philippines Essay BanknotePhilippines,
1949. P-Unlisted. 5 Centavos color trial. Uniface front essay specimen
and proof back specimen. The face is red on light blue underprint and
printed by lithography with Red specimen overprint and “00000” serial
numbers, Large margin on top with color blocks of border and undertint
colors. The back is intaglio printed in black, Unreleased and unissued 5
Centavos color trial. Face has a red overprint on upper top margin with
date 4-28-54 and “Cerro 2824 5F-1”. The face would grade uncirculated
but there was a paper clip that just touched the top margin and leaves a
thin rust line, the back is uncirculated. Scarce pair of notes. �������Est.

specimen faces. Both measure 108 x 53 mm’s. The 1ct note has black
frame with light green undertint, the 5ct has black frame with a light
blue underprint, “4-14-51” or “6-19-51” dates on top margin. Both with
POC’s and red specimen overprints, “00000” serial numbers. Backs have
line for approval signatures otherwise blank. Choice Uncirculated. Rare
