printed on Tyvek paper,, The left half of the note was printed with the

right portion un-inked, POC’s on each, U.S. Federal Seal similar to what

is used on current banknotes are overprinted multiple times over the

surface of the note. Back green, Uncirculated. Rare Tyvek advertising

478 Obsolete Look-a-like, Universal Counterfeit Detector, ca.1820- 30’s.

New York, Advertising note used for counterfeit detecting.

Multiple vignettes including portrait of George Washington as well as

denomination counters, cameo portraits and allegorical portraits. The

note was designed by H.S. Foote. It was also used for vignette selection

for banknotes and security documents. Scarce. ��������������������������Est.

New York and Venezuela, 1851, $1000

I/C. bond, Steamboat and wagon, floating Venus, Red 1000, VF but

the left border cut into, still very attractive. Issued to Freeman Rawdon,

possibly as security toward payment for printing the bonds for the

Scott Unlisted. 1947. Large Die Proof of 8 different

stamps in sheet form. Designs include “25 Communication” (2); “3

Education” (2); “5 Taj Mahal” (1); “5 Rembrandt” (3). All are in “32

Red” color. ABNC eagle logo on top. Printed on white india paper on

large cream card 8 x 8 inches. Text on bottom states “Philippines - Int.

Revenue #2A 32 Red - 500 Pesos (Woman Striking Anvil) OK for Color

3/13/47” with approval initials. Back has purple Approval stamp with

time and date. ABNC. Choice condition. Unique color approval proof
