is used on current banknotes are overprinted multiple times over the

478 Obsolete Look-a-like, Universal Counterfeit Detector, ca.1820- 30’s.New York, Advertising note used for counterfeit detecting.
Multiple vignettes including portrait of George Washington as well as
denomination counters, cameo portraits and allegorical portraits. The
note was designed by H.S. Foote. It was also used for vignette selection

Red” color. ABNC eagle logo on top. Printed on white india paper on
large cream card 8 x 8 inches. Text on bottom states “Philippines - Int.
Revenue #2A 32 Red - 500 Pesos (Woman Striking Anvil) OK for Color
3/13/47” with approval initials. Back has purple Approval stamp with
