Indonesia.

September 1, 1948, 50 Rupiah, P-Unlisted50a, Essay specimen uniface

front and back banknotes. Block 1-A. Specimen overprints and POC’s.

Front is purple, back is dark blue. Back of note has farmer plowing

with oxen. The notes appear Choice to Gem Uncirculated but there

are internal folds beginning at the punched out cancels created when

punched and the notes are as made. Please do not bid if you are seeking

perfection but these notes should grade Choice to Gem AU but appear

as Gem Unc. notes., Rare essay note. SBNC. �����������������������������Est.
