1894 Shan His Zing Fun Bank, 1913 “Taels” Issue.
China Repub-
lic Shaanxi Qinfeng Yinhang (Shan Hsi Zing Fun Bank), 5 Liang
(Taels), 1913, P-S2597, An early issue from one of the handful of
banks that issued notes in the Northwestern province. VF with
toning, light stains and slight edge faults. The back in English has
blue border, text and vignette with 2 world globes in middle, the
face in Chinese is in green. ���������������������������������������

building on left, back brown, Uncirculated to CU condition.
Rare note in any condition. Listed in SCWPM for $225 in XF and
this note is far superior then XF. Rare and high grade desirable

Almost XF condition and 5Yuan, P-S2758a (S/M#S46-23a), Issued
banknote, violet and m/c with house on top of hill, back violet,
Choice Fine to almost VF condition with a 1/2 inch tear on the
top left margin that is difficult to view, scarce note in any condi-
tion. ABNC. Only 3 other notes listed in the PMG census. Useful

China, 100 Copper
Coins, P-S2808 S/M#S96-10, Issued banknote, Choice Uncircu-
lated with the usual spindle holes on the top margin with large
even margins, sharp corners and fresh appearance, amazing con-
dition for this rare issue. Catalogs $300 in XF and is unlisted in this
high condition. Possibly one of the finest known for this issue.

Banknote.
Shanghai, China, 1907, $1, Shanghai Currency, P-Un-
listed, S/M-H186-1, Unissued banknote. Face is black on light
peach and lime green underprint, Official looking notable on
right, bank building one left, facing dragons on top with seal,
back is red, peach and lime green with facing dragons on top with
seal, ornate title, No Serial Numbers, the note appears Choice
AU Condition with large even margins, exceptional paper quality
and fresh appearance but there is a very light fold vertically in the
middle and a light corner bend on the top right corner that keeps
this lovely note fromUncirculated to CU condition. A trophy note
worthy of a superior bid. �������������������������������������
