Welcome to the Sale
On behalf of the entire Archives International Auctions team, I would like to personally welcome you to our fifth
exciting Hong Kong auction. We are offering over 500 lots of Chinese and Asian Banknotes, Scripophily and Coins in
conjunction with Kelleher & Rogers Fine Asian Auctions Ltd., on May 24th, 2015 in Hong Kong. We are privileged to offer
Part 1 of the Alexander I. Pogrebetsky Family Archives of rare Chinese and Asian banknotes that has never been offered
before at public auction as well as two other significant collections of rare Chinese banknotes. Included will be many
desirable banknotes that are rarely seen at auction as well as a large assortment of specialized issues from many areas.
We are looking forward to another exciting Hong Kong auction and hope you enjoy our current offerings. We will be
holding our next Americana, Art and Ephemera auction on June 25th at our offices in Fort Lee, New Jersey featuring the
Rudolph P. Laubenheimer Family Archives, who was known for engraving U.S. Postage Stamps as well as numerous medals
for the 1876 Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia and the 1892-93 Columbian Exposition in Chicago. Please contact us if
you would like to participate or consign to our upcoming auctions.
We would also like to thank Kelleher & Rogers Fine Asian Auctions, LTD., and their warm and welcoming team
for their help and encouragement in holding our fifth Hong Kong Auction and look forward to many more in association with
them in the future.
I would like to thank everyone who has participated in our past auctions and has helped make this auction series
a resounding success.
Best of luck,
Bob Schwartz
