China. Lot of 5 notes. All are 1920, $5, P-541, S/M# S107-12, red on
m/c, Bank in middle, back red, various overprints in English and
Chinese including P-541b, Condition varies from VG to VF with
small faults, one with scotch tape on a corner, small pin holes and
various small issues, still a scarce assortment that deserves further

of 3 notes, all are issued $1 denominations, Includes 1920, P-540a
S/M# S107-11, blue face with building, back orange, Almost good
condition with major wear and paper loss in the middle where the
note evidently traveled and was used a lot, black English signature
on back plus purple hand stamps; 1921, P-545a S/M# S107-20, red
face with building, back green, Almost good to good condition with
splits at vertical fold, otherwise it looks VG, BEPP; 1925, P-546A?
S/M# S107-, red face with building, back black and unlisted this
way, only listed as a red back, Repaired note that was literally in
pieces, Almost good condition with major wear and paper loss in
the middle where the note evidently traveled and was used a lot,
black English signature on back plus hand stamps, BEPP. All notes
with serious problems and all extremely difficult notes to find in any

otherwise bright colors and attractive for grade. Rare note in any

2165 Ningpo Commercial Bank 1925 Issue Discovery Banknote.Shanghai, China. $5, P-547A S/M# S107-, Green on m/c, Bank at
center, Fine toVF with 3 small pin holes on the top left corner, even
margins, bright colors and relatively firm paper body, chop marks
and hand stamps on note, S/N AD038384 F, G&D. There are no
graded examples known in PMG census and the note is only listed
as a specimen. Very possibly unique. ������������������������������� Est.
