500 Coleman California Line, “Archer”, ca. 1850-60’s Clipper Ship Card.NY. CA. 4 x 6.5 inches, Centaur with bow and arrow in silver
and gold, red border with blue text, back of card has list of best
passages of competitor ships listing the Archer at 106 days and the
other 4 ships between 125 to 181 days to get to California. Printed on
coated stock paper, Choice Fine to VF condition, ink mark on lower
left border, rounded corners and slight toning on face, the back with
a 4mm thin on the left, otherwise a very attractive and rarely seen
Clipper Ship “Gold Rush” advertising card. ������������������������Est.
