Zouaves 62 Regt. N.Y.V. Soldier advancing uphill right with bayonet

fixed. 37x50mm. Vertical oval. Signed near bottom of image area

within oval. Lead die trial splash. The final medal is uniface copper

and hung from either a silver (officers) or copper (enlisted) cross,

sometimes seen with a thin red-white-blue ribbon intertwined in the
