water wheel. Notation on back says done about 1848 but appears

similar to his work of the late 1850’s. Signed, mounted on heavy

Sketched by R. Laubenheimer about 1857. 8-7/8x13 inches. This

monument, erected in 1848, still stands in the cemetery, although it

is no longer fenced in as presented in this sketch.����������������Est.

Sketchbook. 7-1/8x8-3/4, Light card cover over 15 page (1

page or more have been previously torn out, as the hand numbered

page numbers differ from reality). The remaining pages have full

page studies in pencil and charcoal of trees. Very nicely done. Not

signed or dated, but book is from a Nuremburg printer. Probably

done by Rudolf Laubenheimer as a youth in Germany prior to 1851.
