80 Sample Book of Drawings of Rudolph & Ernst, ca. 1880-20’s

Sample Book includes the original drawings and works of Ernest G. Laubenheimer. 22

pages include large original drawings, many dated in the 1890s. Including ink, pencil, watercolor, pastel and charcoal. Other areas of the book include

invitations, lithographed designs executed by Ernest. In addition numerous unidentified scenes are included, however the book ends with several pages

of Corporate seals and intaglio work of his father R. Laubenheimer, include a flier for the small “Lord’s Prayer” medal. Some foxing on the pages affects

the items mounted, others pages are not affected.The book had a heavy embossed flower, bird and butterfly design in color.Two of the three birds now

EMBOSSED SEAL PROOFS

Rudolph designed and engraved hundreds of different embossed letterhead and corporate seals

for various businesses, organizations and countries. The following embossed seals are proofs

of impressions from his archives that represent the Die Sinkers and Engravers art in its highest

form.

Letterhead blind embossing die. Incuse portrait and name in reverse. 35mm impression

area, steel. Slight rust on surfaces, protective wax coating.The face is round, but the back has a rectangular block for press alignment.This was used for
