195 Coyaima Hydraulic Company, 1876 with Impressive Christopher
Columbus vignette.
Colombia. (Incorporated in New York), 1876,
10 Shares, I/U, 3 x 3 inch vignette of Columbus in sight of land, en-
graved by National BNC, S/N 189, VF with toning on the left side, a
repaired 1 inch split at the left middle fold and slight splitting on the
right middle fold, First time seen by cataloger as well as very pos-
sibly unique. The vignette is very similar to the vignettes found on
early National Banknotes that contained engravings by NBNC. The
mines were located near theVenezuela-Colombia border. Est.
