The only note within this rare series that does not contain a colored
seal. This note is a sharp and crisp XF-AU with bold and even print-

Blue Green Series.
Georgia, 1777, $5 Spanish Milled Dollars, P-
S799, Issued, S/N 3680, Cannon in seal on lower right, The Blue-
green seals are the most difficult series of all the Georgia Colored
Seal notes which were issued 1776 through 1778. It’s an immensely
popular series partly due to the unusual run of dollar denominations:
$2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 Dollars. The note appears Choice XF to
AU with nice margins, bright seal and fresh appearance with small
edge faults on the left margin as well as light stain on the left mar-
gin back. This note brought $1,840 in a major sale in January, 2005,

beautifully impressed seal and a well centered Choice VF note, with
a hard to detect repair at the tip of the lower right corner. Catalogs

Georgia, 1777, $7 Spanish Milled Dollars, P-
S800, Issued, S/N 1900, Hand in seal on lower right, One of the
rarest notes of this desirable series. This is the only use in
all of Georgia Colonial Currency of this seal with the upraised hand
and the Latin motto, translated: The Ultimate Reckoning.
A clean and almost perfect XF note with a small nearly undetectable

S802, Issued, S/N 1107, water jugs on lower right, A VF note of this
scarce series, well centered with a strong seal, but with a number of
small tape or glue repairs mostly visible on the blank reverse and
over top of the seal. An appealing and desirable note nonetheless.
