“Collogravure Recess and Surface Printing applied to the
Production of Postage and Revenue Stamps, Bank Notes and
Security Work, by Harrison & Sons, Ltd., There are 166 stamps
included in the booklet, 16 different types are represented in blocks
of 8, 10 or 16 which also includes one banknote progress proof of
frame with portrait similar to some of the Harrison Specimen
stamps, The stamps include Harrison Specimen stamps, Specimen
stamps that look similar to ones issued for the Netherlands,
Denmark, Argentina and England, all are in excellent condition.

sive intaglio printed proof printed on india paper mounted on thin
white card, 7.25 x 4.6 inch advertising card in blue with famous
image of dragon being slain by helmeted man on horseback on left
with Waterlow & Sons title on top and top right and description of
work “Banknotes - Bonds - Stamps and All Other High Class
Securities” on right side of note, extremely well done and attractive
Waterlow advertising note design. Bottom micro imprint states
“Design by Hugo Fleury - Engraved by J.A. G. Harrison”, Choice
Uncirculated condition with mounting remnants on back of proof,

and impressive original hand drawn and colored, 7.5 x 5 inch adver-
tising card in gray, olive green, light yellow, blue and black on thin
white card, Helmeted woman in middle staring to right, Waterlow &
Sons title on top with description of work “Banknotes, Stamps,
Bonds, High Class Securities” on sides and bottom, extremely
attractive Waterlow advertising note design. Fleury, an artist and
designer for Waterlow & Sons, is known for designing stamps for
the 1935 King George V Silver Jubilee Issue for England as well as a
1935 Portugal 1000 Escudos Note and a number of Czechoslovakian
banknotes used in the 1940’s and also other banknotes and stamps.
Rare and unique artwork from this well known Waterlow & Sons
artist. XF condition with light mounting stains and glue remnants in

that was evidently altered or changed with sections of 2 different
cards glued together, Helmeted figure on horseback fighting drag-
on with spear in circle in middle, green leaves flank left and right,
Waterlow title and description on top and bottom, “Banknotes,
Bonds, Stamps, High Class Securities”, extremely attractive
