Lot of 3 different Progress Proofs of the face vignette of “Ruins” in
different engraving states and colors (green or black), All are used on
a number of Libya issues including 1980-81 Issue, series 2, 1/4 Dinar,
P-42A; 1984 Issue, Series 3, 1/4 Dinar, P-47; 1988-90 Issue - Series 4,
1/4 Dinar, P-52; 1991-93 Issue - Series 4, 1/4 Dinar, P-57 and 2002 Issue
- Series 5, 1/4 Dinar, P-62. All are printed on india paper on large card
and measure 9 by 6 inches. They are dated between 4/6/79 to 4-16-79.
