centavo, 1949 (1951) dated notes with large color bars on excess selvedge.

Both of the notes would measure 80 x 43mm’s, black on light green

underprint or black on light orange-pink underprint, Both with blank

backs with text “Approved:” and a line for the approval signature. Both

with specimen overprints and POC’s and in CU to Gem Uncirculated

centavo, 70 x 37mms, 2 faces, either black on green underprint or black

without underprint and 1 back in black with gray underprint and a 1

centavo, 108 x 52 mm, black on light green, all with blank backs with

text “Approved:” and a line for the approval signature. All with specimen

overprints and POC’s, all are in CU to Gem Uncirculated condition. Rare

Banknote.

Philippines, ND (1949), 50 Pesos, P-Unlisted (PMG graded

as P-138pe), Unlisted front Proof printed by Security BNC instead of

TDLR as listed in SCWPM. The note also has security fibers on the right

1/2 of the note that is missing from the TDLR issues. Upper left corner

has the date printed in the margin in small letters “6-24-54” and on the

right “50F-BN 25620A” which is the SBNC ID #. Portrait of Luna on left.

PMG graded About Uncirculated 50- EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality).
