Memminger looking right at center. VF condition with toning, “88” in pencil at top right corner. Rarity 4+ with 501 to 750 issued, 1600 issued. This bond bears the imprint of “Wagner & Co.” Wagner was a Nashville, Tennessee printer whom Duncan recruited on 11-1-61 and brought to Richmond to work for him. Wagner did most of Duncan’s bonds, to judge by the comparative superiority of their workmanship in comparison to Duncan’s notes.
