notations and dated “May 1, 1918” or “April 1st, 1918. Both are print-
ed on india paper with large margins and imprints, both would be
Uncirculated to choice uncirculated condition but the excess margin
has small pieces missing or small tears due to removal from previous

lage and mountain scene, back blue. The note has toning on the
margins, a small tear on the top middle margin and possibly a minor
repair on the bottom middle, but overall the note is intact and still
has firm paper quality and would grade Fine to Fine+ with small
faults, this note is more difficult to find issued then it appears from
the catalog. Scarce and attractive example of this rare
