S/N 7023; 25 Cents, Wait # 1467, S/N 8243; and 50 Cents, Wait # 1468, No S/N, All three have a small vignette at the top, a small vignette at the left, and a coin at the right above a seal, Notes are in Choice VG to Choice Fine condition or better. all are Rarity 3 in Wait. Lot of 2 Counterfeit Banknotes, Includes: $2, Wait # 1554 Rarity 4, S/N 1958 and $5, Wait # 1568 Rarity 5, S/N 3035. Both notes have red and blue print with vignette at top and denominations printed at left and right side. The State Bank opened in 1812 with six branches. In 1814 the Bank split into six independent banks. In 1865 the State Bank at Newark became the National State Bank under Charter #1452 and became the target of counterfeiters and note alterers.
