Introduction to the Sale Foreword Greetings from the entire Archives International Auctions team! It is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you as we embark on our 95th auction, marking our 3rd event of the year 2024. We’re thrilled to present 464 lots comprising rare and coveted U.S., Chinese, & Worldwide Banknotes, Chinese, U.S., and World Coins, Scripophily, and Historic and Security Printing Ephemera. Additionally, we are privileged to showcase additional selections and rare numismatic pieces sourced from various estates and longstanding collections, many of which are making their debut appearance at auction. Our auction will span a single day and feature a diverse array of items: 130 lots of world banknotes, 98 lots of Chinese & World coins, 25 lots of U.S. Coins; 31 lots of U.S. Obsolete, Small and Large Type Banknotes, and M.P.C.; and 38 lots of Historic Ephemera and Security Printing Ephemera; 18 lots of U.S. and World Stamps and Postal History; the event will culminate with 122 lots of U.S. and World Scripophily, encompassing themes such as railroads, mining, banking & finance, historic bonds & shares, and more. Among these treasures are numerous highlights, many of which have never been available for purchase previously along with a plethora of other Fiscal Documents and banknotes from esteemed collections and archives. Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce our 96th auction scheduled for late August to Early September 2024 as well as our collaboration with Daniel F. Kelleher Stamp and Numismatic auctions for July 25th of U.S. and World coins and banknotes.
