Typewritten letter addressed to Charles A. Edgerton with ornate brown intaglio letterhead from the New York Bank Note Co., successor to the Kendall Bank Note Co., signed and with a note at bottom. The letter states that a sample bond has been sent, along with an enclosed bill. Birds-eye-view of lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge as part of their logo on their letterhead. Their offices were located at 75 Sixth Avenue in NYC. VF condition. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, June 29th, 1860. Handwritten Letter addressed to Titus Eddy & Son on ABNC letterhead, showing an account balance with a credit of $337.50, signed by Henry Perkins, Secretary and Treasurer. Henry Perkins was originally a partner in Danforth, Perkins & Co., which joined with TC&Co., BC&Co., DW&Co., RWH&E, JDW&Co., WHW, The NE BNC, and John E. Gavit to form American Bank Note company. Rare and early ABNC letter head with all of the merging companies listed as well as being singed by one of the principal partners of a merging company.
