It is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you as we embark on our 92nd auction, marking our second event of the year 2024. We’re thrilled to present 654 lots comprising rare and coveted U.S., Chinese, & Worldwide Banknotes, Scripophily, U.S. Colonial Fiscal Documents, and Historic and Security Printing Ephemera. Additionally, we are privileged to showcase rare numismatic pieces sourced from various estates and longstanding collections, many of which are making their debut appearance at auction. Our auction will span a single day and feature a diverse array of items: 405 lots of world banknotes, including 74 lots of Chinese banknotes and Scripophily; 331 lots of Worldwide banknotes; 72 lots of U.S. Colonial Fiscal Documents and various U.S. currency types such as Obsolete, Small and Large Type Banknotes, Fractional Currency, Confederate Banknotes, and M.P.C.; and 59 lots of Historic Ephemera and Security Printing Ephemeral. The event will culminate with 115 lots of U.S. and World Scripophily, encompassing themes such as railroads, mining, banking & finance, historic bonds & shares, and more. Among these treasures are numerous highlights, many of which have never been available for purchase, including remarkable Chinese and World banknotes, along with a plethora of other Fiscal Documents and banknotes from esteemed collections and archives.
