Co. (2). George James Rice, ex-President of the Utica, Ithaca and Elmira Railroad, was arrested at Delmonico’s on Friday December 18, 1882, and charged with forgery and embezzlement and was held on $20,000 bond to answer to the charges of fraudulent hypothecation of stock and for forgery. �������������������� Est. $100-180 Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana 501 501 Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railway Co., 1903 Specimen Bond Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Illinois and Indiana. $1000 Specimen 4% Consolidated Mortgage Coupon Bond. Unlisted bond color, denomination and type in Cox, rare bond, one of two found in the archives and the only one available. Texas. $1,000 Specimen 8% Purchase Money Second Mortgage Income Bond, Black print on brown border and under tint in horizontal format, Multiple images on certificate, largest of a Patriotic Bald Eagle holding flag and shield at center under title and over seal of Texas at bottom, Specimen overprints and POC’s, Choice Fine condition with archival reinforcement of splitting at top middle border fold. Listed railroad but never seen in cox previously, This is the exact example pictured in Cox. No issued examples are known on this railroad and this was the only specimen found. This is it.
