Rodgers. 25 Cents, (Possibly Rothert 351-1, but he did not have an image available), Issued obsolete scrip note, Dated July 25th, 1862, Black text on face “Payable in Arkansas War Bonds or Confederate Notes when $10, is presented”, with faded black design at left, Ink bleed from signature on back, S/N 1095, Crisp XF condition with a diagonal fold keeping the note from AU condition, with ink bleed from signature on back. Rarity 7 in Rothert. The only example offered at auction that could be found was a inferior example of a 50 Cents denomination note for this issuer. ���������������������������������������������������������������������������������������� Est. $1000-2000 Richland - Richland is located in Searcy County, which was formed in 1838 from the Southern part of Madison County. The Battle of Richland Valley took place in May, 1863. Very possibly unique.
