Lot of 3 I/C bonds, all are $1000, I/C, 6% Coupon Bonds, all mounted on brown cardstock and signed by Missouri Governor Robert Marcellus Stewart. Black text with Missouri state seal at top center, View of Iron Mountain at left, two bonds have their right edge cut off, one has the right side intact and shows another view of Iron Mountain. POCs, cancellations in ink, and cancellation handstamps. All are in Good with issues or damage to Fair condition with toning, staining, and rough mounted edges, and other signs of wear, two are split in half vertically. Robert Marcellus Stewart (March 12, 1815 - September 21, 1871) was the 14th Governor of Missouri from 1857 to 1861, during the critical years just prior to the American Civil War. The bond with both left and right side views of Iron Mountain is Rare.
