The property consisted of 300,000 acres of land in the District of Abasolo, including 10 silver mines, two ranches, a reduction works, and 14 houses. A Mexican prospector named Don Enrique Miller had discovered the claims and was made the manager of the company when it was organized. Certificate is signed by William Hickok. William Alonzo Hickok was a farmer and abolitionist. It is said that he and his wife, Polly Butler, used the family house, now demolished, as a station on the Underground Railroad.
