Portrait of “Landing of Columbus” on top, Specimen banknote, Black title, vignette and text with orange border with red eagle on bottom, Unlisted denomination and color in the SCWPM. Red specimen overprints, POC’s and “00000” serial numbers. Coupons attached. Impressive vignette of “Landing of Columbus” measuring 4.5 by 2.25 inches. VF condition with a small spot on the top left edge of the vignette, This was treated as a circulating bond that could be used for currency as well as investment. Rare note.
