Lot of 4 Issued Anglo Iranian Oil Co. Ltd. Scrip Notes, including 2 Rials in light pink; 5 Rials in light green; 25 Dinars in light blue; and 50 Dinars in off- white. All have black text and are in AU to Choice Uncirculated condition. The company was a British-organized oil company, based on a concession agreement with the shah of Persia in 1901; and nationalized by Iran in 1951.
