Introduction to the Sale Foreword On behalf of the entire Archives International Auctions team, I would like to personally welcome you to our milestone, 80th auction. We are excited to offer 826 lots of rare and desirable U.S., Chinese, & Worldwide Banknotes, Scripophily, Coins, U.S. Colonial Fiscal Documents, Historic Ephemera, and Security Printing Ephemera. We are also offering rare and desirable numismatic pieces consigned from various estates and longtime collections, with many of them having never been offered previously at auction and are new to the collecting community. The auction will be held in 2 sessions over one day and include 490 lots of world banknotes including 91 lots of Chinese banknotes and 14 lots of Chinese Scripophily; 11 lots of world coins and medals; 16 lots of Colonial America Fiscal paper an documents; 14 lots of U.S. banknotes including 6 lots of 1929 Nevada National Banknotes; 11 lots of U.S. Federal Bonds and Fiscal documents; 56 lots of Historic Ephemera and autographs; 26 lots of Security Printing Ephemera; 4 lots of U.S. & World stamps and postal history; and 190 lots of U.S. and World Scripophily featuring railroads, mining, banking & finance, historic bonds & shares, and numerous other topics with many lots too numerous to highlight. We will be offering another Timed-Internet only auction sometime mid-November after Auction# 80 that will offer low and unreserved openings with low Buyer’s Premium. Our next live gallery auction will be held late November to early December 2022. We are now working on and actively seeking consignments for our late Fall 2022 auctions to include U.S. and World Banknotes, Coins, Scripophily and Security Printing Ephemera as well as desirable numismatic & philatelic items.
