Introduction to the Sale Foreword On behalf of the entire Archives International Auctions team, I would like to personally welcome you to our 79th auction. We are excited to offer 676 lots of rare and desirable U.S., Chinese, & Worldwide Banknotes, Scripophily, U.S. Colonial Fiscal Documents, Historic Ephemera, and Security Printing Ephemera. We are also offering rare and desirable numismatic pieces consigned from various estates and longtime collections, with many of them having never been offered previously at auction. The auction will be held over one day and include 441 lots of world banknotes including 113 lots of Chinese banknotes and 20 lots of Chinese Scripophily; 29 lots of U.S. banknotes; 29 lots of Historic Ephemera and Security Printing Ephemera; 4 lots of Checks & Drafts; and 166 lots of U.S. and World Scripophily featuring railroads, mining, banking & finance, historic bonds & shares, and numerous other topics with many lots too numerous to highlight. Our next auction will be held early to Mid-October 2022. We are now working on and actively seeking consignments for our late Fall 2022 auctions to include U.S. and World Banknotes, Coins, Scripophily and Security Printing Ephemera as well as desirable numismatic & philatelic items.
