Specimen $5000 1st Mortgage 6% Registered Bond, Horizontal, Black on brown border and underprint, train sitting at station in middle under title flanked by allegorical children, VF with minor splitting at folds, ABNC. Extremely attractive bond. Listed in Cox as a specimen only issue. This example last sold in Smythe’s 2000 Strasburg auction and I do not think any have been offered since. Territorial railroads are extremely rare.
