Introduction to the Sale Foreword On behalf of the entire Archives International Auctions team, I would like to personally welcome you to our 76th auction and our fourth auction of 2022. We are excited to offer over 670 lots of rare and desirable U.S., Chinese, & Worldwide Banknotes, Scripophily, U.S. Colonial Banknotes, Colonial Fiscal Documents, Historic Ephemera, and Security Printing Ephemera. We are also proud to be offering a large selection of curated items consigned from various estates and longtime collections with many items having never been offered previously at auction. The auction will be held over two days and include 452 lots of world banknotes; 8 lots of Chinese Scripophily; 51 lots of U.S. Colonial banknotes and Colonial fiscal documents and U.S. Obsolete banknotes; 30 lots of Historical Ephemera and Security Printing Ephemera; 9 lots of U.S.I.R. Revenue Imprinted Checks and Drafts; 11 Lots of U.S. & World Stamp and Postal History Lots; and over 108 lots of U.S. and World Scripophily featuring railroads, mining, banking & finance, historic bonds & shares, and numerous other topics with many lots too numerous to highlight. Our next auction will be held late May to early June, 2022. We are now working on and actively seeking consignments for our Summer and Fall 2022 auctions to include U.S. and World Banknotes, Coins, Scripophily and Security Printing Ephemera as well as desirable numismatic & philatelic items.
