Introduction to the Sale Foreword On behalf of the entire Archives International Auctions team, I would like to personally welcome you to our 75th auction and our third auction of 2022. We are excited to offer over 650 lots of rare and desirable U.S., Chinese, & Worldwide Banknotes, Scripophily, U.S. Colonial Banknotes, Colonial Connecticut Fiscal Documents, Historic Ephemera, and Security Printing Ephemera. We are also offering rare and desirable numismatic pieces consigned from various estates and longtime collections, with many of them having never been offered previously at auction. The auction will be held over one day and include 347 lots of world banknotes; 16 lots of Chinese Scripophily; 15 lots of U.S. Colonial banknotes and Colonial Connecticut fiscal documents and U.S. Obsolete banknotes; 29 lots of Historical Ephemera and Security Printing Ephemera; 17 lots of U.S.I.R. Revenue Imprinted Checks and Drafts including American Bank Note Company specimens and proofs; 16 Lots of ABNC Philatelic Souvenir Cards from the 1980 and 1990’s; and over 210 lots of U.S. and World Scripophily featuring railroads, mining, banking & finance, historic bonds & shares, and numerous other topics with many lots too numerous to highlight. Our next auction will be held mid to late April 2022. We are now working on and actively seeking consignments for our Spring and Summer 2022 auctions to include U.S. and World Banknotes, Coins, Scripophily and Security Printing Ephemera as well as desirable numismatic & philatelic items.
