Introduction to the Sale Foreword On behalf of the entire Archives International Auctions team, I would like to personally welcome you to our 72nd auction we have held over the last 16 years. We are excited to offer over 600 lots of rare and desirable U.S., Chinese, & Worldwide Banknotes, Scripophily, World Coins and Medals, and Security Printing Ephemera. We are also proud to be featuring “The Lucerne Collection of Chinese Banknotes” as well as curated selections from the Allen Berk collection including additional rare and desirable numismatic pieces consigned from various estates and longtime collections, with many of them having never been offered previously at auction. The auction will be held over one day and include 235 banknotes from the spectacular “Lucerne Collection of Chinese Banknotes”; 37 lots of Chinese bonds; 53 lots of Asian banknotes including the countries from Hong Kong to Viet Nam; 147 lots of world banknotes from Australia to Zambia; 14 lots of world coins and medals; and 91 lots of Security Printing Ephemera, U.S. Banknotes and U.S. and World Scripophily, which close out this auction. We are now working on and actively seeking consignments for our Winter and Spring 2022 auctions and are seeking U.S. and World Banknotes, Coins, Scripophily and Security Printing Ephemera as well as desirable numismatic & philatelic items for future auctions or direct purchase, so please contact us to discuss how you may participate in our future auctions.
