This certificate entitled the holder to participate in a prize-drawing held at the Annual Donor’s Luncheon on May 12th, 1949, in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf-Astoria. The offered prizes included a hand-wrought silver bowl, portable record player, case of choice wine, and a silver fox skin, among others. Helen Keller praised the Palestine Lighthouse and Israel’s efforts to aid the blind in a 1949 speech. VF condition.
