Cincinnati, Ohio. 5.5 x 5 Inches, Black intaglio printing on thin Coated white glossy card stock with well known 1840 engraved micro printing of the Declaration of Independence with the Arms of all of the states surrounding it as well as the portraits of Jefferson and Washington. Slight toning on top and right edges, otherwise the card is in exceptional condition and appears as printed. Philadelphia, PA. 1860, issued letterhead, intaglio printed in black with an early ABN Mast head listing all of the major partners as well as office locations from New Orleans up to Montreal, Canada. Issued from the Philadelphia office for “State of Pennsylvania” Treasury Department order form for 1500 checks bound in 15 books of 100 checks for a total of $78.75. Signed and approved by the Pennsylvania State Treasurer, Eli Stifer. VF condition with a very small 2mm by 5 mm piece missing from the left bottom margin away from text.
