Lot of 4 Proof vignettes printed on india paper that is unmounted with imprints by ABNC. All were used on the reverse of the Banco Mercantil Banknote Issues. Included are the central reverse vignettes for the 10 Bolivianos, P-S174 of the image of a clock tower with building, plaza and group of people; the reverse vignette of the 20 Bolivianos, P-S175 with image of the Plaza of Cochabamba; and 2 different images, one carmine and one black used on the 100 Bolivianos, P-S177 note of a manufacturing complex in the middle. The carmine example has a repaired tear. All are in Uncirculated condition except the carmine example. The 100 Bolivianos note is only known as proof with no issued examples known. Lot includes a trio of proof vignettes, the first two of two young girls and of a young woman, as used on the 50 and 100 Bolivianos notes of Banco Mercantil, P-S176; S177; the third vignette of a young woman looking right as with floral wreath surrounding as prepared for Credito Hipotecario de Bolivia, all printed on pieces with wide margins, ABNC. Lot of 2 Proof vignettes printed on india paper in black mounted on thin manila card with imprints by ABNC used on Banco Nacional De Bolivia Banknote Rarities. Includes the central obverse vignette of the 5 Bolivianos, P-S200 with 2 allegorical seated women (Liberty and Justice) flanking Arms of Bolivia in middle with an additional part of the title on the left that would normally be on the top left corner of the note but is vertical in this case; and 10 Bolivianos, P-S201, the Banco Nacional De Bolivia bank building used on the obverse of the note. No issued examples of these notes are known and all proofs and specimens are extremely rare. This is the closest a majority of collectors will ever get to owning a piece of one of these rarities.
