All are in Fine to VF condition. Each check has an advertising philatelic ad for purchasing world stamps probably printed on the backs of the checks sometime in the 1920’s or 1930’s. The Bank of California was opened in San Francisco, California, on July 4, 1864, by William Chapman Ralston and Darius Ogden Mills.
