Taiwan, lot of 2 notes with accompanying letter by W.D. Smith of the famous Chinese Numismatic banknote bible. Letter references the text on back and front and calls it “87th Disaster District”. The notes appear similar with large building in middle but are different colors, Evidently it was possibly a savings bond that also had elements of a lottery ticket. The letter is interesting and adds another dimension to the collecting of Chinese banknotes.
