The building which was insured was a “Dwelling House built with brick, three stories high, with a kitchen two stories high, also built with brick, belonging to the insured, [and] occupied by Jeremy Hoadly situate on the East side of Back Street, and is more particularly described in a Survey filed.” Interesting piece of Hartford, Connecticut history.
