Hickel, Governor of Alaska, and Ernest Gruening, U.S. State Senator portraits and “There Will Always Be A Fairbanks” at top, VF condition; War of 1812 Captain Lewis Warrington Bronze plated copper medal, Obverse features a profile of Lewis Warrington, with Latin inscription surrounding, Reverse shows a depiction of naval battle with Latin inscription at top and bottom. Lewis Warrington (November 1782 – 12 October 1851) was an officer in the United States Navy during the Barbary Wars and the War of 1812. He temporarily served as the Secretary of the Navy, probably a relatively modern reproduction.
