Havana, Cuba, 18xx (ca.1850-60’s), 100 Pesos, 1st Series, 6% interest payable annually, P-Unlisted, Blue on brownish paper, Ornate title, no vignette, back blank, 2 ink markings between the counterfoil and the banknote, possibly as a counterfeit protector to match up the 2 sections at a later date, simple design, S/N 5169, Fine condition with toned brown paper with small nicks out of the right margin, a small 1 by 1/2 inch piece missing from the left counterfoil away from banknote design and a reinforced paper split on the counterfoil, also away from the banknote design. There is also an ink graffiti marking on the top right corner.
