Introduction to the Sale Foreword On behalf of the entire Archives International Auctions team, I would like to personally welcome you to our 62nd auction we have held over the last 14 years. We are excited to offer over 970 lots of rare and desirable U.S., Chinese & Worldwide Banknotes, Scripophily, Historic Ephemera and Security Printing Ephemera. Also included in the auction are numerous rare and desirable items consigned from numerous estates and longtime collections with many having never been offered previously at auction. The auction will be held over one day and include over 333 lots of World banknotes; over 530 lots of Scripophily; and 95 lots of U.S. Banknotes, Historic Ephemera; Security Printing Ephemera and related material. Highlights include Chinese banknote rarities with many being offered for the first time to the collecting community; dozens of high grade banknotes including many rare issues as well as additional group lot selections from an old time collection; Over 600 Issued and specimen Bonds and Shares with additional selections from the American Bank Note Archives; U.S. Obsolete, Large and Small type banknotes; and numerous lots of Historic Ephemera and Security Printing Ephemera.
