France & U.S., 1910-1920s. 4 page advertising pamphlet from ABNC for their French offices. Front page has ABNC eagle logo with French text regarding the quality of their work. Interior pages have vignettes of George Washington, Dom Pedro (Brazil), and another portrait of a man, as well as an allegorical woman standing on a wheel that was used on Czechoslovakia banknotes. Back page has a blue advertising note with a portrait of Paul Revere flanked by allegorical figures similar to the ones used on the 1917 Canadian Bank of Commerce Series. AU-Unc. condition. Illinois, Lot of 2 items, includes Abraham Lincoln card with Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address and a copy of the Bixby letter, a brief consoling message sent by President Abraham Lincoln in November 1864 to Lydia Parker Bixby. Along with the Gettysburg Address and his second inaugural address, the letter has been praised as one of Lincoln’s finest written works and is often reproduced in memorials, media, and print. The interior 2 small areas of paper from previous mounting at vertical center fold with slight splitting at the top fold. Appears AU to Uncirculated on the face.
