Both have different types of Chinese Pagodas possibly intended for or used on banknote designs by ABNC. Further research required. Both are engraved and printed by ABNC. Harbin, China. $5, P-S231s1, S/M#C271-3.5b, Specimen banknote (Issued banknote with regular Serial Number used as Specimen), Black on m/c, Statue of Liberty at right. arms at left, large circular m/c cycloid engraving in middle, back green with black signatures in English, Black “Harbin” printed on bottom and red serial numbers, 4 POC’s, 4 purple Chinese overprints and diagonal SPECIMEN overprint in middle, PMG graded Very Fine 30 with note of small pin holes on the top right. There are no listed examples of this note in the PMG census and no recorded sales of this note ever in Track & Price. ABNC.
