Lot of 3 error notes (uncut sheet of 3), 18xx (originally printed in the 1850’s but reprinted ca.1960-70’s), $1-$2-$3, (MN-98-G2a; G4a; G6a), Modern “Proprietary Proof” sheet trio. The $1 note has seated reaper and young allegorical woman flanking numeral “1” on lower middle left; the $2 note has Native American family in canoe in middle, Young woman on LL and allegorical woman with “2” on LR; The $3 note has seated agricultural wom- an with grain and locomotive on upper left, male reaper with large scythe on LR and portrait of young attractive woman in middle top. Black printing with brick red underprint, printed on thin white card, Choice to Gem Uncirculated condition. ABNC, Rare as uncut error sheet of this proof only issue with the black overprint off center by 1/4 of an inch or more. Utica, NY. 18xx (1850’s), NY-2775 S10, Spurious note (not counterfeit, printed by DB&Co). Penn- sylvania arms top center, Train lower left, Printed on large margined paper. The note is a crisp Very Fine but a tear on the right margin just touches the right border. DB&C. Uncut proof Sheet, $1-1-2-5, Haxby NY-935-G2-G2-G4-G6, All printed in black on india paper mounted on thin white card, the $1 notes are known as proofs and issued, the $2 note is not known as a proof, only issued and the $5 note is SENC. Zachary Taylor is on the $1 note with sailor and seated Knickerbocker, Workmen on the $2 note and men with horses on the $5 note, the sheet looks Uncirculated but the $5 note has a 1 inch tear at the bottom and the glue spots on the right side have been separated tearing the paper away from the design. Uncut sheet of 6 unissued notes. “10cts-20cts-25cts-50cts-$1-$2, all printed in black on light beige translucent paper, all with different vignettes in middle, the sheet was archivally repaired on the back effecting all of the notes but the 20cts. The $2 is effected the most with minor repairs on the balance. The sheet also is missing a small amount of the bottom border just touching the 10 cent note. Scarce sheet.
