Philadelphia. April 18, 1795. 1 Share I/U Stock. No vignette. Appears in VF condition but the Morris signature has been repaired and restored. The North American Land Co. was formed by Robert Morris, James Greenleaf and Jonathan Nicholson had property from Georgia to New York but went bankrupt in 1798 when revenues were not being generated quick enough. This led Robert Morris to debtors prison for three years until his wife could bail him out.
