Lot of 12 I/C drafts from Iron Cliffs Company representing early Upper Peninsula iron mining operations. All checks are drawn on New York banking houses and bear multiple blue Third National Bank of New York acceptance stamps, with several examples showing original revenue stamps. Designs feature the engraved mining vignette at left depicting industrial workers and equipment, with ornate period typography.
